¡Un gran programa!
¡Hey, que onda!, esta es oficialmente mi primer post en este blog, y estoy muy contenta de tener un espacio para compartir mi trabajo, sobre lo cual les platico en el apartado de "About me", pero igual quería reiterar mi emoción por comenzar con este nuevo paso en mi vida.
Ahora si, sobre la ilustración, la personita que dibujé se llama Anna Pogorilaya, y, es una patinadora rusa; por cierto, cuando subí esto a instagram la etiqueté y ¡le dio like! (claramente pudo haber comentado algo, pero no le hubiera entendido jaja, así que me conformo con el like). Verán, hace año y medio practico patinaje artístico sobre hielo y me causa mucha inspiración ver programas tan lindos. Anna patinó con la canción "Por una cabeza" de Carlos Gardel, -cabe mencionar que esta canción fué parte del filme "Perfume de Mujer", la cual considero una gran película- y ella tuvo unos movimientos tan finos y precisos, que, lo que menos quería es que terminara su presentación, y aún cuando lo hizo volví a darle replay una y otra vez. Me inspiró tanto que para mi próxima competencia tenía en mente bailar esa canción pero resulta que otra persona la había elegido unos días antes, claro que eso no era impedimento para elegirla, en verdad podía hacerlo y las ambas saldríamos con la misma pista, pero después de pensarlo, me decidí por otro tango, ¿por qué?, porque este es mi mensaje para tí:
Lo importante en una presentación (competencia o de exhibición) no debería ser ganar, sino destacarse.
Y quiero que ambas nos destaquemos, en lugar de compararnos.
Hey, guys! This is officially my first post on this blog, and I am very happy to have a space to share my work, I talk about this in the section "About me", but still wanted to reiterate my excitement for starting with this new step in my life.
Now, about the illustration, the person that i drew is Anna Pogorilaya, and, she is a Russian skater; by the way, when I uploaded this to instagram I tagged it and it gave me like! (she could comment, but she did not, and I did not feel bad about that, because because I would not have understood anything haha, anyway). You see, I've been doing ice skating for a year and a half, and I'm very inspired to see such beautiful programs. Anna skated with the song "Por una cabeza" by Carlos Gardel, -I must mention that this song was part of the film "Scent of a woman", which I considered a great movie- and she had such fine and precise movements, that, what I wanted less to finish his presentation, and even when he did, I replayed him again and again. I was inspired as much, that by my next competition I wanted to dance this song, but another person had chosen it days before, of course that was not an impediment to choose it, I could really do it, but, after thinking about it, I decided on another tango, Why? Because this is my message to you:
The important thing in a presentation is not to win, but stand out.
And I want us to stand out, both.
